The report on declining real estate investor optimism was interesting until I saw their definition of “real estate investor” and the table at the bottom with scores for previous years.

The score for August is 53 which is about the same score as in April, May and June in 2005, when prices were skyrocketing in Arizona and many other parts of the country.

I’m losing interest in this study.
