Southern California home prices up, down, sideways

For example, the median price of a Los Angeles County home was up 2.6 percent from a year ago, while prices were up 5.2 percent in Riverside County and 8.6 percent in San Bernardino County.

But San Diego and Ventura counties saw prices fall below last year’s levels, with San Diego down 6.9 percent and Ventura off last year’s mark by 8.2 per cent.
