Actually, the expression I’ve heard about Arizona termites is, “If you don’t have ‘em now, you will.”
I recently had a client from Florida who was very worried about termites. Fortunately, in Arizona we don’t have the hyper-aggressive Florida termite species.
After a home inspection, the home inspector has never told me that termites had caused structural problems.

John, If any of your clients are really concerned with termites maybe they should consider moving to Maine. A couple of months of below freezing weather ever year seems to take care the little buggers! So what if you can’t play golf for a bit, there’s always ice fishing!

Boy, have I missed another ice fishing season! Gosh.
I’ll be wishing for a Maine vacation soon enough… but not now. It’s glorious now.
