Maricopa fastest growing county in United States

This is one reason why Maricopa County real estate will be rebound relatively quickly.

Maricopa County gained 696,000 residents between 2000 and 2006, the largest numerical increase of the nation’s 3,141 counties, according to estimates released Thursday by the U.S. Census Bureau.

Maricopa County has 3.8 million residents, making it the nation’s fourth largest county.

Pinal County was ranked the 6th fastest growing county in the United States.
