Beazer Homes Plummets on Fraud Investigation

by John Wake on April 1, 2007

This Beazer Homes fraud investigation could get interesting.

Whatever happens to any home builder, I hope the ultimate effect is that they build fewer homes. U.S. home builders have been completely irresponsible in managing their inventory.

I know that Beazer was the sole builder of several large subdivisions in Surprise and some other growing areas. Is Beazer one of the biggest builders in the Phoenix area? Is there a list of which builders build the most houses each year in Greater Phoenix (Maricopa/Pinal)?

bbryan,

I’ve seen those rankings but can’t remember where. I believe DR Horton is #1 is the Valley.

Anyone else know where we can find that list?

Greed is greed. And they are the worst. We all have to watch out for those buggers as individuals! Just like used car dealers of the past.

The Beazer investigation will be eclipsed by the federal predatory lending going on at D R Horton. Check out drhortonsucks.info for details of the extent of the problems.
