Arizona 2007 employment growth rate estimated to be 2.7 times larger than U.S. average and 2.9 times larger than California’s.
Nationally, employment gains are pegged at 1.3 percent for the year, down from 1.9 percent in 2006
Arizona is expected to see a 3.5 percent gain in wage and salary employment for the year
The Blue Chip Forecast also looks at 2008 with Arizona jobs expected to see a 3.4 percent boost in numbers.
ADDED: Hmmm, I bet a lot of those people are going to need a place to live.
