One of the serendipitous things about blogging is that I’ve become friends with some of my fellow Phoenix area real estate bloggers.
Jonathan Dalton of Dalton’s Arizona Homes mentioned in his blog last week that he has season tickets to ASU football. Well, so do I!
Liz couldn’t go to the game last night, so it was great fun during half time to go chat with Jonathan and meet his mother.
By the way, ASU football games are very family friendly. There is no alcohol, no fights and few drunks so you see tons of kids and families at the games. Compare that to an Arizona Cardinals football game!
ASU was down by 19 points before the first half of the first quarter was over! But they came back and won. An exciting game.

Hey John, I took my wife and 2 kids to their first ASU game ever last Saturday night. We are grooming our 2 girls to want to go to ASU, so this was quite the event. The game got off to a rough start, but finished well.
It was 1993 when I last went to an ASU game in person (class of 1991 myself), and that’s been far too long. I agree the atmosphere was pretty good for my 2 young ones, but it’s still football…and the four little words were definitely thrown around by the fans in the first quarter. I don’t think there’s any way I’d feel comfortable with them at a Cardinal game.

When my guys were younger I went to 2 Cardinals games and never again. Drunk guys screaming profanities all game long with my grade school kid right there.
