So it doesn’t rain in Arizona?

Check out the video highlights of the “McCormick Ranch Bowl” which turned into the “Mud Bowl.”

Neighboring Saguaro High School and Chaparral High School have one of the great Arizona football rivalries. The first master planned community in Arizona, McCormick Ranch in Scottsdale, is split with some homes in the Chaparral High School catchment area and the rest in the Saguaro High School catchment area.

This year the two rivals met in the Arizona Class 4A I Semifinal football game after a day of near constant rain.

Saguaro won 12-6 in a game filled with fumbles and advances to the Arizona Championship game next Saturday against Tucson Canyon del Oro.

More on the Chaparral HS / Saguaro HS rivalry here.
