Prescott, Ariz.: Retirees help market stay somewhat stable

USA TODAY blurbs the Prescott, Arizona real estate market.

The real estate market in Prescott, with a population of about 42,000, also never got as overheated as some other parts of Arizona. But given the average home price of $384,400 and an economy built on service and retail companies, some working families are moving to nearby Prescott Valley, where the average home costs $238,000.
