We got a ton of rain yesterday. This is a wet winter in Arizona and the wild flowers will no doubt be glorious in a few weeks, something that only happens every few years.
The fans of the FBR Open this week and the Super Bowl on Sunday would have preferred more normal temperatures.
The skies were blue by late morning yesterday but the high temperatures will be running in the 60s for the next week instead of the more normal 70s. Still it was a beautiful day yesterday… and we love rain here in Arizona… at least I do.
[It's funny how when I lived in Florida while going to graduate school (Go Gators!) I hated the rain. That's the difference between getting 7 inches of rain a year versus 55 inches of rain a year.]
