First-time homebuyer $8,000 tax credit EXTENDED to April 30

  • The home has to be under contract by April 30 and must close by July 1, 2010.

Program EXPANDED to include $6,500 homebuyer tax credit for some current homeowners

  • Must have used the home sold or being sold as a principal residence consecutively for 5 of the previous 8 years.
  • The home has to be under contract by April 30 and must close by July 1, 2010.
