Metro Phoenix - November home sales generally strong (for a November)

by John Wake on December 28, 2009

All 124 zip code real estate charts available in the right-hand column have now been updated through NOVEMBER 2009 with the number of home sales, the median home price and the median home price per square foot.

Video Comments - Phoenix median home prices by zip code through November 2009

Phoenix home PRICE trends - Generally up or flat

  • West Valley - Generally up median home prices
  • Southeast Valley - Generally flat or up median home prices
  • Scottsdale Area - A few signs median prices may be leveling off but generally down

It looks like some zip codes, particularly in the West Valley, have probably bottomed out. However, the median home prices in most zip codes don’t have a clear direction.

Well, I’m certainly glad 2009 is coming to an end and my feeling is come next year around this time housing prices will be higher but not by much.

My guess is the worst has passed but it’s still going to take another 4-5 years to get things close to where we have a healthy housing market
