New Poll – “Today, if your house is worth half as much as you owe on it, is it wrong to walk away even if you can make the payments?”

A long-time subscriber to Home Sale News (since 2006) unsubscribed on Sunday saying, “I’m unsubscribing because I have a problem with people walking away from loan contracts they signed, and I am tired of the encouragement of this behavior.” She apparently thought I was encouraging strategic defaults which is probably accurate.

Which brings up a question.
